Default Buying HKS Hi Power Exhaust ?

Hey CL, where is the best, ie.. most cost effective place or vendor to buy this exhaust from, and do you think it would sound better paired with my Invidia Mid than the Tanabe im currently running? Thanks

With them on the cabin is 95% better in terms of exhaust volume. I won't call it drone bc there is too many definitions of it. I've had your setup and honestly (no offense) it the worst in terms of acoustics. If you're looking to buy brand new, I saw skip on the HKS as well. What sound are looking for?

I have the HKS and I love it. I bought it from circuit motorsports who are a vendor on here and they were the best price after I shopped around.

get an fsport no mid pipe. Think that might satisfy you.

Worst thing you can do to our exhausts are take out resonators. I've done that with a few setups I've had, on a stock Midpipe, Megan mids and invidia mids. No resonator with ANY axel back setup including stock axel backs sounds raspy/ricer. I just got designing my own stock exhaust and it has 3, yes THREE RESONATORS.

I'm saying skip the HKS only if you are buying new. In the other thread I said go for it bc (again, no offense) tanabe+invidia is the worst sounding setup I've heard(I've had at least 15). But if you are going to buy new, you have better options.

If I remember correctly, with silencers, on my Megan exhaust and invidia midpipe, it's a little less drone then a F-Sport (with no other exhaut modifications). To answer your question, it will be less drone then your current setup.

I am also running the HKS Hi-Power. I enjoy it especially when im going through tunnels or bridges. the drone isnt too bad since you get used to it anyways. it may **** off some neighbors when its late at night or early in the morning, otherwise its good.

if you are looking for used, sometimes you could find one on craigslist. sadly, but craigslist has pretty much everything. inspect condition and how much its used. some times you may find brand new since the person just didnt want it anymore.
