You should run to the Lexus dealership quick before you hit 80,000 miles because the Cats are factory warrantied up to that point. Lexus will most likely pull that code and say that your cats need to be replaced and do it for free!! You're fortunate!!
How many years is it warrantied for though? I'm sure it's probably 8 years/80K, in which case they could say that it hit 8 years first. I wouldn't doubt that one bit...It is JUST under 80K too, like 79,9XX (I can't remember the exact mileage, but it's within 100 miles of hitting 80K. LOL
Edit: Just checked mileage. It's 79,886. If they don't screw me on the year issue, I may be able to get new cats...I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Yeah, you should take it in anyway just to see. If they are a good dealership, then they should work with you since you are right on the mark. If not , call up corporate Lexus and get them involved.
