Default homemade cf intake box


used the cf kit off ebay, still waiting for the top to dry, more pics once i get that installed, the black rubber is the weather guard off the trunk off a cougar, got it for 5 bucks for 10 feet of it, the cf kit was 60 so the entire project was around 70 bucks, 2 hours of fitting and cutting, and like 70 hours of waiting for it to dry :P

I like the creativity, but the CF weave doesn't look so good. Almost like a CF wicker basket.

The build quality looks spot on. Is that a 2x2 CF weave or something?

thanks, ya larger weaves are cheaper, ill get smaller weaves once i finish the project, i actually used smaller weaves on the inside of the box to see how the two compared, u can see the smaller weave one in the picture, im also using smaller weave on the lid of the box

the inner weave looks a lot better...but overall this is pretty sweet.

ill wrap the entire box in a smaller weave this weekend, just ordered some

as for the snorkel, dont need one

you cut a hole in your headlight for this? thats dedication lol but something I wouldnt do.
