Default What to use to clean exhaust?

Just noticed that my exhausts are really dirty and I wanna bring back it's shine. What do you guys use to clean your exhausts? I have HKS hi-power by the way. Thanks.

You mean the exhaust pipe? I think soap and water should be sufficient. After it dries, you can use a nice polish, put it on a towel and rub it in, go all the way around, and buff it out. You might also want to clean the exit too.

wash with soap and water. dry it and use a good metal polish to shine it up. I always clean the rear view because it can be seen from the rear.

If it's really dirty, scuff it down with some very fine sandpaper then polish it afterward.

X2 on the Mother's metal polish. Best $5 i ever spent! lol

http://www.mothers.com/02_products/p...5100-05101.jpg

I used it when i got my IS, the tips were really dirty, it had pretty much zero shine to it. I just washed them down, wiped as much off as i could with an old microfiber and then went to town on it with the Mother's polish. Gives you an insane shine when your done. Wish i had a before and after pic, you'd swear i just replaced the tips..lol I used to use it on my old Honda Prelude too, polished the catback with it
