How much did the kit cost? Will you be getting any accessories? Purge, bottle heater, pressure gauge, etc.

Was interested few months ago but I got a quote for $2500 including parts and labor..

Btw, isn't Nitrous Express 100HP shot = ~100WHP? That's what I heard.

$2500 installed might be right for a genuinely fool-proof kit with a bunch of safeties and whatnot.

$500 is what I'd expect to pay for a "well, it WILL inject nitrous" kit you trigger with a pushbutton manually.... also know as a "future pedestrians kit"

The only saftey features that are a must are a WOT trigger, 2000 rpm window switch, and a fuel PSI saftey switch.
Google for the prices and brands, there is tons of options out there. Zex has a built in WOT trigger @ 4.5 volts input.
You can safely run a custom 80HP shot which gave me 50+ WHEEL HP.
The AFR stayed safe. The factory fuel pump can't keep up with demand with any bigger shots.

Kyb: That is a excellent price on the Zex kit. The nitrous kit itself is pretty cheap. However, the labor and the accessories is going to kill you. I wish we can just buy the kit and be done with it.

HKS: A 80 shot only yields 50WHP? From my understanding, the Nitrous Express displayed HP is the actual WHP. So if I purchase a 75HP shot = ~70WHP.

Can a 100 shot be run safely on the 350?

You don't "need it" but I ran the extra saftey.

Fuel psi switch http://compare.ebay.com/like/2005983...=sbar&_lwgsi=y

Window switch RPM based: http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CE0Q8wIwAg#

Motor = $3500
Extra saftey = $150

100 shot wet? NO not enough fuel. Proven on the dyno. You may be able to install a IS-F fuel pump but honestly IDK if there is a diff between the fuel pumps in a 350 and an ISF ??????

HKS , saftey is my first priority bc it is my DD, so you think i will be able to safely run a 50 without worrying about too much. I wont be shooting it very often..

Also, what RPM range is your window switch set at?..

Is there any other accessories you have? Bottle warmer, Purge?

Is there any reason why you chose Zex over NOS,NX? Really leaning towards a NX kit since their shot are rated at the WHP. Just curious to know if the car can handle a 75 shot (~70WHP). Which is basically ~90HP to the crank for Zex kits.

Well here's the thing about Nitrous kits..........There all the same. All Jets in nitrous kits are the same. They all interchange. So besides the fancy branding or the look of NX there is no diff.

IIRC he went with the kit he did because the car it was intended for originally had the nearest fuel pressure to the 2IS.... but as noted you can swap the kit parts as needed.

Have anyone heard of the "blackout" nitrous system from Zex?

• Includes jets for adding 55-75 HP

• Active Fuel Control™ monitors bottle pressure & adds or subtracts enrichment fuel for maximum engine safety & power

• Engineered for stock type engines but will also work on highly modified engines

I read some mixed reviews on the Purge kit. It isn't absolutely necessary but it is just good to have.
