Default f-sport intake or f-sport exhaust for my 250?

can only do one at a time. which one would you go with? exhaust looks better, sounds better but no hp gain. intake is stealth and only sounds better above 3k rpm, but will gain you 5 hp or so (not much, i probably will never notice but still nice to know).

exhaust does have hp gains, but nothing you can feel, fsport exhaust probably yields between 5-7 hp like all axle-back exhaust.

some magazine posted something like the intake nets 5-7 hp the cat-back f-sport exhaust only 1-2 hp, but it sounds so nice in low rpm.

fsport intake will net a max of 5hp. axle back are stated between 5-7hp and full exhaust from 7-10hp

if that's the case, exhaust 1st, as you don't see or hear your intake that often but you probably hear your exhaust tone every time you step on the gas

Here's my take on this:

I shouldn't have bought that intake.

That's all I gotta say.

I would get the exhaust first... it's what people will see and hear first. An intake is hidden in the hood; nobody can tell you have one.

If you only care about the gains, import tuner magazine did a dyno on the F-Sport parts... the best bang for the buck would be the F-Sport Intake which will give you 5 HP for 500 bucks. The F-Sport Exhaust will give you about 2 HP for $1000+.

None of them will make a big difference for you to notice, so it's all cosmetic thing. Go with F-Sport Exhaust unless you want best bang for the buck...

i love both and wouldn't go without either one. They're perfect together. As mentioned, both get you about the same minimal hp gain, and neither gives you enough to really feel the difference, so the real reason to get them is for sound (and looks in the case of the exhaust...not that the intake doesn't look good...it's just hidden under the hood).

you only hear the intake beyond 3500+ RPM, so most of the time, you won't hear it, whereas the exhaust comes on at low RPM, so you get to enjoy it more. So basically if you could only get one, i vote for the exhaust.
