Default How to Install Fujita Intake?

Ive been searching and cant find a write up on installing a Fujita short ram intake, I just purchased one used, and it seems self explanatory but can someone post a DIY write up on installing it?

K&N has a similar design and they have instructions. Fujita's website is horrible and provide no online instructions.

Any other detailed write ups for an intake? I'm handy but still are sketchy about doing the install with no instructions

Question: why does the k&n intake come with a heat shield but the fujita does not? Also would it be a bad idea to not disconnect the negative terminal before install? I don't want a check engine light

The heat shield is just a feature of the K&N intake...by reducing hot air going into the engine = more power, so that is why most people going after HP will op out of a short ram and go with the Joe-Z (utilizes the factory "ram" air for colder air)...short rams give awesome sound, but will take in hot air from the engine compartment, so the F-sport is a great combo of both...I went with the Joe-Z for the lower price

Here is a great step-by-step on how to install the F-sport intake from the Sewell website, this should give you all you need:

Hope that helps
