The Viper arrived today. Looks good! It has an aftermarket and HRE's, it looks brand new, not a blemish except for the front license plate hole, gotta get that fixed. It has 1597 miles on the clock. This is the only year coupe that is easily supercharged / turbocharged. They only made 233 black coupes in 2006 too!

The GEN III isn't nearly as hot as the GEN II, also once the cats come off the heat drops tremendously, no emissions in Florida so the cats are gone soon.
The GEN IV Viper (2008-2010) was 600 HP however it was high compression and was also OBDIII. Paxton doesn't even make a supercharger for the GEN IV, nor do other companies like Roe Racing, they only advertise their TT kits until 2006. A local Viper tuner, Larry Macedo used to work for Hennessey, he told my fried who is also a Viper owner that he has tried to install a blower on the GEN IV but couldn't get it to work. On the GEN III they just reprogram the stock computer, it's really nice.
Also the 2003 - 2006 are pretty much all the same, but the 2006 is the only year of the GEN III that comes in a coupe.

I'm sure they could, they would also have to build the motor to lower the compression back down too. With the Vipers nobody really does stand alones and very few build the motors, with the hand held tuners out you can totally reprogram the stock ECU. There would probably be check engine lights and other interior functions to get around with the GENIV's.
I will probably just leave the motor stock and be happy with 750 to the wheels on 93 octane, the car only weighs 3300 lbs so it will be a rocket at that level.
