Default Fujita question help please!

Cant find the other thread on this but why does the k&n intake have a heat shield but the fujita does not?

Fujita just doesn't sell the heat shield. You either have to build a custom one or purchase one from another manufacturer.

What's the disadvantage or advantage of having one? Does it really block off that much heat?

honestly it helps but it wont make any noticeable changes in performance with a heatshield as to not having one.so dont stress about not havng one bro.if u really want cooler air your best bet is JOE-Z intake.

the heat shield needs to truely be air tight to prevent most of the hot air from being sucked back into the engine. Honestly IMO, heat shield or not, it'll be about the same.
