Lexus@17 has a sick setup. HKS + Invidia midpipe. I think it sounds amazing in the video.

Yeah sounds great. I think the HKS may be a little loud for me though. I don't really like the round canister look on the IS either.

Love the Ti look on the tips of the Greddy. Greddy's always seem to fit pretty well and be on the quieter side. Plus with the midpipe the Greddy Se + Mippipes + Injen intake in the thread under this one sounds great in the video. I'd just like to hear how it sounds under normal driving.

Hey everyone!

Would you recommend the tanabe or m2 exhaust? What are the difference in terms of sound and build quality?

Thanks for the input!

M2 for sure because of the price! Really can't beat it. Tanabe only for the name.

So is the surewinproducts axle-back, the same as the M2 axle-back? Also does anyone know if it fits perfectly on a 2011 IS250 AWD? Thanks!

I have a 2011 IS 350 AWD and it could have been the exhaust that I received, or maybe a few things changed underneath due to the AWD 350 being new, but the fit was terrible. It was too long so the tips were sticking out too far, the flange didnt line up to the stock flange off the midpipe, and the bends just before the left side muffler had to be lengthened so that it wouldnt bang into the car mount. The shop spent 2 hours on it, they chopped 3-4 inches off where the flange connects to shorten it, that made the tips sit flush, then as they connected the flange back they lined it up to fit the stock pipe.

Even after all of this I had to use a couple of zip ties to straighten out the tips. The sound is exactly what I was hoping for, but the fit kills it for me. I paid 120 bucks for the shop to do the work, they were awesome. I painted the pipes black behind the mufflers to subdue the welds and it actually looks pretty good. I'll more than likely run with this until next spring and get something else. The snow will be falling in a couple of months so not worth it to get somthing this year. In the end, you get what you pay for, roughly 400 in total...

I believe the surewinproducts.com is the same as the M2. Looks as if a few places sell the M2 under different names.

Selling my M2 if anyone is interested. Used for about 3-4 months. No dents, large scratches etc. Good condition! PM an offer if interested!

Default knock offs?

I never condone knock offs but at $200, the m2 presents a huge dilemma. I paid over $500 for my Tanabe.

I'd stick with your Tanabe! Once I had the Greddy SE Exhaust right next to my M2 (when I removed the M2 and installed the Greddy) there was a big difference in quality.

I almost hate to ask this question--but do any of these exhausts help with HP or is that just marketing? I feel like the answer is different depending on who you ask.

Thanks

Has anyone every put titanium tips on their stainless steel exhausts? I have the M2 and want to dress it up a bit, but not sure what the final result would be.

Found some tips on ebay that could work, but not sure what the general consensus is on something like this.

Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-10...ht_1488wt_1011

Please let me know what you think.

Smart Move, I have a full Cat-Back off EBay, $200.00, w/ free shipping. I am totally satisfied. I know there are a lot of "Brand WH***S" on this sight, but its nice to see that someone else is practical in their spending, not "cheap", mine was an exact match on fitment, and the stainless is quality also, Im impressed !!! Good Luck

I'm with you SMigone. I would like to have the f-sport exhaust, but for the money I went out and got coilovers instead. I couldn't see spending more on an "axle-back" exhaust than coilvers....just didn't make sense to me.
