$300 for the M2 is still well worth it. If your seller forgets to send you bolts, you can acquire them from home depot or autozone for less than a few dollars.

I've yet to see more than a month or two go by that one doesn't pop up for sale in classifieds...at a glance there was one sold end of Feb, and another sold end of Jan... granted this means you might have to wait a month or two, but it's not like the stock exhaust doesn't work in the meantime.
If saving $100 (minus buying additional hw) and risking potential fitment issues is worth it, by all means do that though... it's not like the M2 won't work or something even if it requires some adjustment to fit, I just think at $300 it's a lot less of a value proposition compared to a used quality exhaust than it was at $200 delivered in the OP.

I watched for awhile, and yes they've popped up at $400-$500 but of course they're usually in CA or something and would need to be shipped to many of us. Many people on the classified are not willing to ship something like this or if they are, tack on another $80 or so for shipping, etc...At SOME point one will come along though. Still, $300 (new) shipped vs. $400-$500 (used) before shipping is a good value to most of us that aren't concerned with it being show quality. 1st world problems.
I am waiting for the "Lexus envelope with stamp for sale" no shipping to be posted....

I think the .5 difference is not a big deal and I have seen that exact pic on a few of the m2 sellers auctions . I am gonna say its probably is a m2 and at 220 I would take the chance lol.... None of them give us power we just looking for sound.
Maybe the seller got the specs wrong. I haven't seen 4 inch exhaust tips in a minute and those don't look that big in that pic

So quick question about installation. It just bolts on at the flanges to the rear of the res right? What about the mufflers? Are they secured by bolts or do they just sit there? Is this a one man job?
