Really thinking about getting this but I still haven't seen a video of an IS350 w/ res delete. Plus I want to hear it in person first.

I heard a 350 with resonator delete before. Sounds decent in person, but a little raspy when the car is floored. I definitely would recommend a midpipe. M2 is definitely good for the money tho (M2 with a midpipe will still cost less than any "brand named" exhaust by itself).

A resonator delete will make your car sound deeper in the lower RPMs, but when you start getting into the higher RPMs, you will hear a ton of rasp. Get a midpipe instead.

I've been thinking about a mid pipe but I don't want to fail a visual check and deal with the hassle of having to swap to stock midpipe for the check. Option isn't off the table though.

They usually don't check under the car if you go to a cool shop.

Has anyone who's installed an M2 gotten what looks like fiberglass dust coming out from their exhaust?

I installed my m2 kit yesterday. Used zip ties to align the exhaust temporarily near the resonator exhaust hangers. My impression of the exhaust on the 350, I get the best sound at 2500-3000 rpm. I did not expect the drone in side the car to be as loud as it is, and why does my plastic rattle from the sound ((((((((( but overall im really happy. Next weekend im going to an exhaust shop to get it aligned and to weld my s2k tips on to it, i dont like these tips love my s2k tips ))

When was it installed? If it was recent im pretty sure thats just the piping breaking in and the heat causing metal shaving to come thru.

That's sound deadening packing coming from the mufflers. It will stop after running it a few times. You may notice a little smoke and funny smell from it too while it breaks in.

Yea, there has been a funny smell. Does that mean the exhaust gets quieter after the break in period? I love the sound, but I don't know how my girlfriend would respond when she hears it, haha. Hopefully, I'll break it in before she sits in my car.
