Hoping for no or absolute minimal drone at this point, my last car was a 2005 Mustang GT S/C that had muffler deletes with a hi flow catted x-pipe, after hitting boost it sounded like a nucluer explosion just occured!! I enjoy the drivabilty of the Lexus and want to try and maintain that as best I can.
I have a month old M2 for sale PM me if your interested!

Default M2 Axle Back

I got the M2 exhaust on e-bay from aks_racing for $264. I solved the spring problem by threading a tie wrap through the spring and compressing the spring in a vise then pulling the tie wrap tight. I used two tie wraps 180 deg apart.

I've had my M2 for about 5 months now and it's still going strong! Picked it up from FRsport.com for about $252. Here's my video contribution, it definitely sounds better in person though. During revs there's bit of a difference, but under load is when it sounds great

I've done the same thing, I just hope the video poster is right when he says it sounds better in person, the video is good but the exhaust does sound really quiet. I don't want to buy it and feel like wanting more after its installed. On the plus side if I do want more there's always the option of installing a mid-pipe. Hopefully make my decision this weekend. Keep you all posted.

Yeah to be honest, I wish it was a little louder for my personal taste. Haha it sounds great from the outside though, most of the time I wish I wasn't in the car so I could hear it better... If you guys want I could try to make another video and try to capture the sound better? and I'm also probably going to get the invidia in the future as well!

If you guys want it louder, then delete your resonator. I had mine deleted before I installed my exhaust so I can't tell you exactly how much louder it gets. But I love the sound of my setup.

From the videos the m2 alone is too quiet and the m2 with resonator delete is too loud. I think im just gonna stay m2 and keep resonator in

Great video, I'm sold! I just have a question, is there any noticeable drone while cruising at city speeds? Same for highway driving, once your in 6th gear in the auto trans does it noticeably drone? Thanks the video was a big help.

that's great there is a bit at first when it's new, but it reduced a bit in the beginning. That or maybe I just got used to it so it sounds quieter. But this is my exhaust after 5 months of having it and that's how it sounds so not too bad. City speeds not too much, my music usually covers most of it up so it's not a big deal. Highway there is a bit as well but music covers it too. You hear it/drones between 2-4k RPM but it's depends on your preference! I personally like it and wish it was a bit louder for my taste so i'll probably go with a midpipe in the future. Keep in mind that this was recorded when the engine was warmed up. When it's cold it's not as loud, atleast that's what I've noticed for mine.
