Default F-sport Exhaust

I just purchased the F-Sport exhaust for the wife's 2011 IS-250. Immediately she didn't like it. So, with less than 2 miles on it I had to take it off. As soon as I have my 30 posts, (new requirement), I will list it for sale. Has anyone else found it too loud for your significant other?

I have the Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust and love it. It's perfect for highway/city driving (not too intrusive).

I have a 2007 IS350 with the F-Sport exhaust and I love it. There's no drone in the cabin whatsoever at speed, it's when I'm accelerating or puttering around the city that I hear it and I think it's a great sound, never overbearing. In fact, with the windows up, even when you can hear it it's fairly muffled.

If you're considering exhausts and the sound is especially important to you, I'd recommend seeking out people with them on their 2IS to hear exactly what it will sound like on the car.

Exhaust usually sound a little different after a few days or so. Not that it would sound any better. Just a bit different maybe. On the other hand I've never heard the F Sport exhaust.

F sport exhaust actually sounds good inside the cab.... I mean it was made specifically for our car... I don't think they would make it unbearable....

I agree!! I have one on my 06 and you can barely hear it when your just cruzin. Only when you give it a good amount of gass is when you really hear it. Drone?? What drone?? I hear and awesome exhaust!!

I found the drone unbearable around town and on the freeway.

Got rid of it after 50 miles.

i recently had the f-sport exhaust and intake installed.

drone is limited even when pushing the pedal. and i have a lead foot too.

i guess it is what it is in terms of preference. i prefer it to sound "aggressive". to me, it sounds like a symphony.

Tanabe is certainly quieter than the F-sport... it's quieter than anything except stock or that one exhaust from Japan that's some insane amount of money for an axle-back (like north of 2k)
