Lightbulb Racing X-pipe...

In my quest to optimize my 99 LS400 I am probably going to build a "racing X-pipe" for the car. The GS400-430 have a very similar Y pipe configuration from the engine and this part should work on ALL Lexus V8s. For those unfamiliar with X pipes here is a REAL, properly engineered X pipe (most of what are sold as X pipes are not properly engineered) http://e30m3performance.com/installs...st/burns-x.jpg

The cost of just this part is apx $300. In order to make the best use of this piece... proper downpipes (flanges, O2 sensor bungs, mandrel bent stainless parts with expert fabrication) are needed leading into the X. And, a proper, high flow, dual path SS resonator after the X pipe. The resonator is needed to keep our cars quiet. All told, parts and labor to produce this system will be around $1000. Power will be improved across the rpm range and the X adds an "exotic" note to the exhaust and quiets it as compared to an H configuration.

I realize that not many here would be interested in such an expensive part but on many X pipe installations exhaust droning problems go away and that seems to be a complaint of many running aftermarket tailpipes. There is probably 20-25rwhp to be had as well. I cannot say when or even IF this will be made available so if any interest exists... let me know.
