O2 simulator from ebay.. that the route I had to take... works to fake signal unless the heater failed in the 02 sensor.
Ok guys, First threw a 0P430 code, Bank 2... Then Paul from PPE send me a longer bung and i had it welded on Bank 2, now i am throwing a P0420 code, Bank 1, Im assuming that I also need a longer extension for Bank 1 too and hopefully that will fix everything...
Jade, how hard are they to install? and did you buy one for both sides? You said this solved your problem correct?
It will solve YOUR CEL code.. but my heater for the O2 sensor failed too (different CEL) which the O2 simulator couldn't solved (had to get new O2 sensors and High Flow Cat to solve my problem.. didn't need the O2 simulators now). You will need to buy 2 O2 simulators for the 2 sides.
Installation requires you to tap some power from your vehicle.. I would recommend the O2 simulators as your last solution.. try everything else before you goto to this..
I had a long drama.. with the PPE header at this thread here... It will give you more info
LIke i stated was a P0430 code, Bank 2, paul sent me a longer extender, now im getting the P0420 code, Bank 1 so im hoping a longer extender on Bank 1 will clear it all up.
