This is why they make more than one exhaust...People like different looks. Guess it works out for everyone.

thanks for the input guys! i agree that the hks looks better with the bigger tips but im worried it will be too loud. its completely my daily driver and dont want too drone or wake the neighbors when i leave early in the morning. Also does the hks flap when u get on it or sound ricey at all? i also want to avoid installing a mid pipe if i can. Thanks

Ive only had the HKS with my Invidia midpipe, never just by itself. My IS is my daily driver, but keep in mind I like being loud. When you cold start it in the morning, it is loud (only for about 20-30 seconds until the engine starts to idle) but it was not as loud (or raspy) as my fsport/invidia or fsport/resonator delete/. The HKS does not sound ricy to me at all because there is no rasp.

IMO my past two setups fsport/resonator delete/ and fsport/invidia were both louder (but more raspy) from a cold start.

While under hard acceleration, these two setups were louad but again were more raspy at higher RPMS. The HKS/invidia setup is louder but with zero rasp, across the entire RPM range.

I think you mean the old "Lexus HKS exhaust" before the F-Sport.
Not sure who makes the F-Sport though

I have an HKS with just an intake. It's only been a week but if wanna know anything let me know. Have yet to take it on the highway when it's dry. I may end up trading/selling it for a greddy tho.

Glad you took the time to research the differences..
