Ok so I've done a lot of reading and searching and I've already chosen to go amsol ATF fluid but my question is my gs400 has 220,000 miles and running strong I want to change my fluid but should I completely flush it or drain and fill it about four times any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Without a power flush it is hard to remove all of the old fluid. However, sometimes when a flush is done it causes transmission problems. There is lots of speculation as to why those problems have happened but I've never seen anyone with direct proof that the flush caused the problems. The drain and fill method will eventually remove enough of the fluid though. My question to you is why do you feel you need to run fluid other than Toyota T-IV fluid?
