Greetings Lexus Lovers,
I am new to forums, so please be kind and patient.
My question deals with IS350 '07 stock exhaust and upgrading. I wanted the F Sport ($1400) but had seen on this forum a full exhaust system by JoeZ($1695)that replaces from manifold all the way back. Like anybody I want the most bang for the buck. Any constructive advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sewell of Lexus is a vendor on this site and will be able to sell you the fsport exhaust for much cheaper. I believe its like $1200 with shipping, or you can wait for a use one to pop up in the classified.
The joez will be mucher harder to find cheaper, your only real discount is if you can find it used. But then again, it is a full axle-back so you do get what you pay for.
However, I would recommend going with the fsport; your not really going to get much bang for your money from the exhaust, so your really only buying the exhaust for noise. (you get like what 4-8 hp?) And IMO, the fsport sounds great while still being legal in CA.

Like one of the posters above said, if you're going F-Sport, buy from Sewell online, price should be much cheaper, especially with the CL discount.
I'd recommend browsing the forums for videos of different exhausts. You mentioned you want the most bang for your buck, but a major consideration with exhaust is sound, so you'll want to know what kind of sound to expect.

~7 hp for about 300-400 dollars.
Any 'new' axle-back will be 2-4 times as much for that same 7 hp.
The Joe Z exhaust is the most total bang (3-5 hp more than the axle-back gives you, depending if you get the off-road version or not... both are illegal in all 50 states though, just the off-road version more visually obviously so), but it's a lot of bucks. It's beautiful and well made though if you want the most hp flat out regardless of cost and legality.
Now, if you're talking "sound" bang rather than hp, that's a totally different story, and very very very subjective.

Thank you guys for responding!!!! My buddy has the F-Sport axle back and the F-Sport intake. It sounds good, looks good, but is the F-sport really worth the price? I have the intake and kinda wanted to stay with Lexus parts. Does the Mods with non Lexus parts affect resale value or trade-in?

Mostly nobody will care what brand of exhaust is on the car when you're selling it.
