Default Which exhaust?

Okay, first things first.I own a 2008 Lexus IS250,and I'm looking to get an exhaust/intake combo that can give it either a good deep, throaty sound or just an adequate jump in HP/Torque.

Now,any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And thank you all for your time.

P.S. I have $3,500 to play with.

Oh,when I say exhuast,I mean everything,sorry I didn't specify in the OP.

Midpipes and headers would be essential.

@Alan-Could you suggest any certain exhuast?

I tried doing that, and some exhausts would not reap results. So I was hoping to come in here and ask the knowledgeable CL about the melodic sound producing exhausts that are available for my car.

$3500 would easily cover all of the following, installed by a professional mechanic:

Joe Z intake
PPE headers
Joe Z full exhaust

That'll add somewhere around 25-35 hp, the most you're gonna get outta just about anything...it'll be illegal in all 50 states, but so will anything more than an axle-back and intake.

And only slightly less than it would've cost to add 102 hp by getting a 350 instead of a 250

It'll sound mean as hell though compared to stock.

You can't go wrong with intake and headers/exhaust...

Thanks for the suggestion!

And I would've loved to have gotten a 350,but we were finding cars that were nearby our area, and our Nissan Dealership luckily had a IS250 for sale, and only 22,000 miles.

Does anybody know if this exhaust is good at all?

http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2674

Or should I go with a Megan/Borla/GReddy catback with Invidia midpipe,PPE headers,and a Joe Z intake.

Edit:Mainly looking for an exhaust that provides a good HP gain.If there's other exhausts that weren't listed, please feel free to tell me about 'em.

There are lots of exahust/intake threads, a quick search should get you all of the info you're looking for

Alright, thank you!I tried that just earlier, but couldn't really find a thread that had what I was looking for.I'll try again, also, thanks for the help!

Also,if there's anybody in the Alabama area,it'd be great if we could become friends.Or if there's anybody that is experienced, that I could go to when I have some questions.

I'd suggest the Joe Z Race exhaust as well as his intake because he's one of the ones that has dyno results to prove the HP increase. Also the PPE headers.

BTW..a fellow member friend of mine has a BRAND NEW set he's selling for a 250. He decided to go VIP instead of performance.
