I'd pick up an IS350 or if you really wanted a TURBO GS3 wait for the ISF/IS500.

You just brought me back from retirement.

That must have been good for something.

The reason why i pick the V8 over I6 turbo is because:

1) V8 = potential for massive torque if being rebuild or upgrade later on

2) V8 = all alum I6= cast iron i think

3) V8 quieter than an I6

just my 2 cent

Agreed if Torque is what you are looking for.

Yes, the V8 is aluminum so in theory should be lighter making your car faster. However, is it better than cast iron design similar to the one found in Supras? Maybe so maybe no.

Highly unlikely. When you are talking about a forced induction setup, you must consider the fact that you will be upgrading your exhaust system. In that case, I can almost assure you that the V8 will always be louder. There is a slew of other things to consider when you're talking about "louder." For starters, suspension is a factor.

Unfortunately not. I was thinking about the LS600H. When I first saw the car at NY Int Auto Show, it was unbelievable. Currently, I am a satisfied owner of an A8L, but I have yet to drive a car as exciting as my previous GS. I took away a lot of lessons learned from my tunning days. Some were positive, others were not. I did learn a lot though about my car. It's good to see some veterans are still around.

If it's a daily driver, or if it's your only car, I'd go with the reliability of the GS400/430. If it's a second car, used as a weekend toy, I'd get a GS300 and turbo the hell out of it.
