I have beaten an Aventador and a McLaren MP4 recently! The race was approx. 2 car length long and included a concrete speed breaker, I WAS FASTER ;-)
Engine tuning:
And then look at us poor fellows in the Middle East. (Just to confuse some people even more ;-)
Until last year all that mattered was the driver, as there was only one "normal" IS on sale, the IS300 with the 3GR-FE engine, 228HP Dual VVT but no direct injection. We have 60 nm more torque and 20 hp more than the IS250 Smooth like silk this engine but not too exciting either.
Now, since last year the IS250 was introduced (slightly cheaper than the IS300) and of course there is the IS-F...
Our local Toyota distributor has made some weird choices before but still better than Europe where you get only the IS250 and IS220d and now the IS200d...
Anyhow, I would wonder how the IS220d is against a IS250, only 177 horses but a massive 400NM of torque at 3,600 rpm...
I wish I could do more with my 3 litre engine but given the small amount of cars that are sold, the tuners don't even bother with this engine...(even though it's very popular here, still absolute numbers are small).
Well...and then there is the usual stuff that reminds you to work harder here:
