Which will be hundreds of hours of labor (much of it in wiring) and you'll still have a dash light or two you can't get rid of at the end (and good luck with inspection if your state has em)... at which point, assuming you mean a 2JZ-GTE not GE, you'll be roughly as quick as a stock 350 would've been... granted you'll have much more potential to mod for more power going forward at least.

i agree with you 100%, just because they don't have clue what to do to turbo a 250 they just say its a waste of time, anyone can buy a fast car but the true meaning of a enthusiast is the build, subaru brz comes with direct injection and runs 12.5.1 compression ratio an makes over 150hp to the wheels on a bone stock. if you don't know because of ignorance or just stupid about turbocharging shut the ****** up and stop telling people about trading in their cars fro a 350 or ISF , research and development and persistence and you will achieve your goals. push on

There is a guy on this chat that dropped a IS350 engine in a IS250 6sp that sounds like fun but, I agree with a lot of guys that responded. A 2jz series engine would be a better platform do get high horsepower from but, the only person that did it lives in Florida and since I live in Florida too, I tried to contact him plenty of times to find out how did he do such a clean swap and worked out some of the bugs, he even got the push button to work with the 2jz. But I never got a response and he never did a build thread so all the secrets went with him. RR racing has a supercharger kit but , it's like 5,300 plus labor unless you are doing it yourself.

A single or twin turbo setup though is still an option which no one has really explored. If I had the time/money, I would now that it could be tuned; but alas, getting re-married to a non-car gal...not gonna happen. LOL!
Anyhow, tuck a single turbo in where the factory airbox is or fit twins in where the headers meet the midpipe. Oiling can be supplied via the ports near the factory oil filter. Just will need alot of one-off piping/welding.
