Short Ram Intake 1998-1999 GS300
What do you know about these?
Funy thing is some websites sell this like
http://www.ultimatetruck.com/product...56&model=20713
http://www.**************/store/?N=1...656+11920+6894
but injen.com acts like this dont exist. cant find by part # or by a general search
Amazon.com and others have
Short Ram Air Induction Intake System with Air Filter - Lexus GS 300 1998-1999
I would like to clean up / make more space under the hood and mostly not have to buy new air filters all the time.

Yeah I looked at those a couple years ago, there seems to be some discrepancies in the part numbers. Like at some point that application was improperly listed and Injen removed the mistake which is why they say they don't list the 2nd gen GS application themselves, but alot of dealers still are listing applications from outdated material or have never corrected thier websites. I don't think Injen actually makes one, the part number on those links and the other links I've seen shows 98-99 GS as IS2086P but all the pictures I've ever found for it clearly show a 1st gen non-vvti 2j with the distributor and old style maf.

ok I didnt pay attention at first. I think it means that there is no or not enough power gain for anyone to make a generally accepted cold air intake.GUess I'l go with a drop in K&N filter in factory box
