Default F Sport intake

So i got my F sport intake yesturday went ahead installed it followed intruction when finished i went proceed turn the car on , the check engine light and vsc turned on, i was like damn i double check my work turned off the car on and off and maybe it go away and drove it about a mile and it still was on, it was getting late i gave up trouble shooting it so do to i work for a dealer i was going have one my tech reset the code before i went work this morning i went gas station ( i had about quarter left) after i filled my tank up all the light check engine and vsc light turned off, is that normal?

Definately not normal. You check to see if the sensor is plugged in all the way? The tube is a pain to align so maybe the sleeve isn't on completely? GL man

yea sensor in plug in right and tube is align right i double check everything wierd.....and i just finished have my dealer tech hook up his Diagnostic code reader nothing came up, and he triple check my work he said i did everything right , i pretty good working on cars but this is a first

I had the same problem. I disconnected then reconnected the battery and everything was good to go.

Any throttle improvement or just sound? How do you like it so far? Do you have an exhaust system to compliment the intake? TIA.

so far i love it sound much better then what was stock intake, as right now i debating what mid pipe ( so far i like the invidia ) and exhaust im going go for ..still doing my research and getting ppl input

I got my intake from a guy that cut the stock box to match the f sport box then made his own intake pipe out of aluminum. Fits like a glove and so much cheaper then the f-sport.
Same gains and same sound
