Default Vibration under acceleration with f-sport exhaust

Hi all, so I just finished installing my f-sport exhaust, and I noticed that the floor seems like it vibrates under quick accelerations, is that normal? Also, I remember someone saying that the exhausts will quiet down a little after a month or so? is that true?

I've never had a F-Sport exhaust, but from my experience with aftermarket exhausts, usually straight through exhaust designs resonate with the same frequency as the cabin, therefore creating vibrations at certain RPMs. Constant vibration is usually the result of a hanger on unibody contact, and would be resolved with rubber/polyurethane hanger mounts.

As for your second point, usually new exhausts tend to quiet down after a few weeks due to carbon build up - this is really evident on more inexpensive exhausts such as Magnaflow. Hope that helps.

I haven't experienced the vibrations. It will quite down a bit in time because you will get use to it. I don't think mine is loud at all after 2 years of ownership I wanted to make it louder You double check all the exhaust bolt to make sure there tight?

I think the vibrations you are feeling is the sound of the exhaust just making things vibrate some. I have the F sport exhaust and notice the same thing when in the 2-3k rpm range when the exhaust is howling. After a while when you break it in the vibration should die down some.

I remember noticing a vibration after first installing my F-Sport exhaust. It's normal, and you get used to it. Then you get in stock 2IS as a loaner and think you're driving a hybrid in EV mode.
