Default Way to produce more sound?

Hi everyone,

What is the easiest and most affordable way to produce more sound? So far I know HKS and Invidia midpipe does the trick . . but any others? I don't care much about HP gains . . I'm only interested in sound . . my car sounds like a Prius now .. so quiet .. no like

Would a midpipe work with stock exhaust ... ?

Sankyu all !

Poke a hole in your stock muffler.

Engine sound, cut a hole in your stock intake box. Go straight pipe if you really want loud haha.
But, normal exhaust is fine.

I have stock exhaust right now with invidia and its perfect for me. It's not that loud but it keeps the car classy. I had tanabe before and didn't really like it.

Most inexpensive way without poking holes in exhausts and cutting holes in intakes is to buy the M2 exhaust. Everything else tends to go upwards from there.

Thanks for all your inputs!

I prefer not to cut any holes anywhere . . just in case I need to sell my car in the future . . sounds like where's quite a few options here ...

I got my exhausts installed, and it didn't change much. After that got my intake installed, my car got louder.

I'm not really a pro in this, but get an intake.

Your intake box is fairly cheap to replace if you did cut a hole in it

You can get one of these. Also available in a V12 version, I believe. Your pick...throaty V8, or Italian V12.

Try just about any aftermarket intake and see if that cures the "sound" bug.

Already got the F sport intake

What is the difference between "cat" and "axle back" exhaust? I read up on them but did not understand ...

cat-back replaces both the mid-pipe and axel back sections.

axel back replaces just that - from the rear axel - back. (Y-pipe and mufflers)

Examples: (These exhausts are from an ISF but for ours purpose show the same thing - the difference between cat-back and axel-back)

Cat back:

FULL CAT-BACK exhaust - OEM next to JoeZ. (This pic also shows the headers at the very top)

Axel-back:

THis one is OEM for the ISF

This one is the F-Sport for the IS250/IS350
