Uh... what?

First, there aren't any aftermarket camshafts for the car to my knowledge.

Second, the 2JZ is an inline 6-cylinder engine that's vastly, vastly, different from the V6 in your car.

If you meant an entire engine swap there has been, far as I know, only one successful 2JZ swap into a 250 in the US. It was done by a guy who does such things for a living, and required several hundred hours of labor. After which almost everything worked. (the car was perfectly driveable, but no VSC or traction control).

If you bought an IS250 to mod it for power you bought the wrong car.

If it's too slow for you you should trade it in for an IS350, that will be way way cheaper, and add a lot more power, than anything you can do to your 250.

A Toyota Supra would be my choice. I'm just sayin. I absolutely love the supra, but there are so few out there for sale that don't have ridiculous miles on them. Great cars, just like the IS, but so many more mod options available on those. I absolutely love the IS, but it is so limited in regards to performance upgrades. You are pretty much limited to exhaust and air intake, unless you are wiling to do something out of the ordinary.

As much as I love the IS, the old G35 had a lot you could do to it... And it sounded sooooooo sick! I wouldn't go back though. I'm trying to keep the mods to a min.
