I've been watching videos of exhausts and it's getting tiring trying to figure out the best exhaust configuration to obtain the deepest tone. Here's the requirements.

1. Deep tone
2. Noticeable performance gains

axle or catback?

if you are looking at just an axleback.. deepest tones will probably go to.. HKS, Megan Drift Spec, and F-Sport. any of these can have a midpipe added to give it a different tone

i dont think any exhaust is gonna gove you a noticable performance gain on a lexus. the exhaust tone makes you feel like you are going fast lol. you might get better response out of the car but the performance gains are not really there.

Do you care if it's legal?

All the legal options are the axlebacks, they'll all give about the same 7 hp gain.... the only differences will be sound, cost, and fit/finish.

Anything full exhaust or involving a midpipe will be illegal in all 50 states (though you might not get caught if they don't do inspections in your area)... these will add more like 8-10 hp. If going illegal I'd suggest you go the whole way and get the Joe Z exhaust. Fantastic fit/finish, and made by a forum member.

I have the Fsport exhaust and like that it is noisey on acceleration - yet has no drone unless I go over 80mph. I still wish mine would sound like the deep gurgle of the Mustangs.

HKS Hi-Power sounds amazing... I have it myself but it has drone on the highway!!
