Default HKS Hi Power?

Hi all,

I'm new to world of exhaust, and am in the market for one. I want a louder exhaust, but not to a point where it gets uncomfortable.

Right now I am looking into HKS Hi Power exhaust, I heard it's the loudest out there, but does not make you uncomfortable unless you put on a mid.. But then I heard drone is pretty bad ..

To those that have it, are you happy with yours?

Thanks !

My drone is terrible with the Invidia and HKS Hi-Poweron my car. At times, my coins in my cup holder will rattle while accelerating. But then I heard that the silencers will get rid of most of the drone inside the car while the outside doesn't make much of a difference. I'm pretty sure an HKS Hi-Power without an aftermarket midpipe and with the silencers installed will have very little cabin drone.

there are a few videos on youtube with the silencer on. Many have said that the silencer reduces the drone quite significantly and still sounds good with it on.

I have the hi power paired with the invidia mid pipe. It is very loud, and coins in my cup holder rattle at times when I accelerate. The drone is pretty bad, but once you put the silencers in, it's very civilized. If you're going to install it without an aftermarket mid pipe, the drone usually goes away after you go past 3.5K rpm's

Is the drone worse after the Invidia? Or the same but just louder?

^ no, it's not that bad. If you're in so cal, I can take you for a ride with and then without silencers so you can get a feel for what it really sounds like
