^ Thanks
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I was under the impression that most people buy midpipes because they want a louder exhaust. If this is the case, why would people choose to get a midpipe that has a resonator?

Hey CL, finally got around to posting a little video of the F-Sport exhaust and Megan midpipe combination. So after getting the IS in 2008, I upgraded over stock to the F-Sport exhaust in 2009 and loved it. Didn't feel it was too loud but gave the IS that extra "bite" and it didn't drone which I loved! Well fast forward to summer 2011 and that initial roar that I Ioved became dull and ordinary. I knew the only way to change this was switching exhausts or adding a midpipe. I chose the latter. Next was to choose either Invidia or Megan. I wanted a deep tone to accompany the F-Sport exhaust. The Invidia was alluring to my wallets sense, but the Megan was where I knew in my heart was. Where (to me) the Invidia sounds obnoxiously ricey and raw, the Megan sounds burly and refined. So I bit the bullet, bought the Megan, had it shipped to the shop. Went down and got it installed, and let me say I never looked back, grinning ear to ear on the way out. The result is something that is best heard in person, but I'll try my best in this short video. The Megan really adds that extra "punch" I was looking for, kind of where the F-Sport ends the intake and midpipe begins a sonorous howl. The powerband feels stronger too, though I have yet to visit a dyno. At start up the F-Sport growls deeper but its still settles down to a low hum. Ease into the throttle and she purrs. Press the accelerator further and your delighted to a mean burble. When the powerband hits, your graced with authority and speed. Mash it to WOT and the ferocious nature of the this setup comes to play. A symphony to my ears, hopefully I can add a second video of the cabin during both accelerative and idle exhaust tests to this thread. Enjoy!

But .. what does WOT stand for ?
And when you have some spare time I'd love to hear the cabin

Hot. I wish I could get this but I'd never get it for my 250. I need the power to back up the sound. Also I live in San Francisco, so driving up a hill would be obnoxiously slow.
Once again.....HOT! It has them rumble similar to the G35s that I love!
