Default turbo

If I were to buy a turbo for my IS350 what would be the best choice?

In your dreams haha... None exist and will never happen cause the price cost to make one. High compression and no internal mods.

Dual 58mm, Ball bearing, Garrett or Borg Warner....

Both turbos are good for 400hp so a total of 700-800hp, Tons of CFM also!

Since what you want to buy doesn't exist you'll be spending a lot more than "a couple of Gs"

Start with a budget of $10,000 and you might get somewhere (custom manifolds, custom intercooler and downpipe, custom mounting for the turbos, some sort of piggyback engine management which is hard to come by and not cheap, plus ya know, the actual turbos and intercooler...)

It won't be somewhere that makes you as fast as even a stock IS-F though, since the 11.8:1 compression with greatly limit how much boost you can run, so trading for an F might be a smarter option for your money.

You might could manage something cheaper if you wanted to run even less boost and use a generic STS rear-mount system, but the results will be even more underwhelming.

Just make sure your turbo doesn't run too much boost for your NOS, or you'll blow the welds on your intake...

Trade the 350 in for a used IS-F.

You'll have the power without compromising reliability.

Unless you have another vehicle you can DD, don't even think about it.

well, there was that one guy who said he was going to go to 10psi on my.is, then he came back on after 7.5 psi and said the car blew up. So technically, there has been a turboed is350, just not a very successful one.
