Nobody makes a true cold air intake for the 2IS.

If you are on a budget then spend $125 on the Joe Z intake... it'll give you the max gain of any commercially available intake (~5 hp) for the lowest cost.

Here is a quick video I did to try and let people here the sound of the F-Sport Intake. To this day the best mod for for the money.

^^^

You can drill holes or cut a hole on the bottom intake box similiar to the F-Sport. That should increase the noise level of the intake.

You can do a quick search on it for members who has bought only the intake tube and drilled the air box themselves to mimick F-Sport.

Joe Z and F-Sport tube are similiar.

The difference from the stock vs F-Sport air box for the intake...is that F-Sport air box has a hole cut on it. You can do it yourself.

Or if you refuse to cut the stock box, Sewell sells just the lower F-sport box and filter for $133.39

But again the only thing this does for you is make the car louder, there's no performance benefit whatsoever.
