Awesome, awesome, awesome! What are you doing about a driveshaft though? I was thinking of modifying the half shaft, or getting a custom half shaft made for mine. Im not going 1-piece... Also, any idea on what diff you are going with? I was thinking of just welding mine, but if its as weak as the trd lsd's, theres probably no point

Also, small update: I decided to go with a larger turbo both for my power goals, (800+), and to have just that much cooler of a compound setup. Im thinking a 30r, along with my gt4294, should sound pretty sweet, have amazing spool time (considering), and hopefully be one of the first gs's with a 5 speed and compound 1st gen 2jz swap

At the moment I am running an aluminum flywheel with act 6-puck sprung, which holds great but did take some getting used too. But I just got an ORC Twin Plate clutch/flywheel combo and an extra tranmission, after I build the new trans I will be swapping both in and see if the characteristics change much.
StarkoS14 I think you mentioned before that you were against a one piece because you wanted it to be the weak link, correct? I'm not sure how long the two stock rubber guibos will last drifting, I would think they would disintegrate rather soon, and become a pain to keep replacing.
And on the diffs, at the price of $0-$150 for open gs300/sc300/supra open diffs that nobody wants if you weldem and break'em that not too awful bad, I'd roll with for that drifting and spend the money elsewhere on the car. I'd be a little pissed if I spent $1500+ on trd/kazz/caronnetics/cusco and ended up breaking it.

Here is a quick little update, got me my gt4294 in, polished, and mocked up!!
thanks guys for all the support! I wanted to go with a compound setup for just that much more drivability, and torque down low. so we will see where it goes, and ill update this thread as i can.
