So really the only performance upgrades you can do are intake and exhaust on is250.
Pretty much.. intake, exhaust and headers

It can be done...don't anyone tell you otherwise. Problem is, for the cost of this kit and everything you'll need to purchase (and labor to boot) in order to make reliable and safe you could probably get yourself into an ISF.

Yeah, the cheapest option to make a 250 faster, by far, is to trade it in for a 350.

It's about a $4000 price difference for a gain of 102 hp.

Versus the supercharger kits (or trying to cobble your own turbo system together from generic parts) for more money, less reliability, and about half that gain.

For bolt ons all the "full" exhausts run $1200-1500 and add about 8-10 hp... headers are another grand coated and installed with cats for another 10-15 hp... then $125-400 for an intake for 5 hp... so that'll run you around $2500 for roughly 25-30 hp... making the 102 hp for 4k by getting a 350 a steal.

Thanks Kurtz i am going to look into a 350 my IS only has 33k miles and it's an 09 so it still has a good trade in value
