Default F sport intake filter on stock airbox/intake?

Hi,

I was originally planning to change intake (k&n typhoon), but I'm really lazy and would hate the annual filter cleaning/oiling job that I'd need to do.

Along with the fact that there's no true CAI, I was thinking instead of changing the whole intake, is it possible for me to just buy the f sport intake air filter, and use it with my stock intake/airbox? The stock filters run about $30 here and it's quite expensive to change them over the years, so I'd rather have a reusable one, but again don't want k&n due to the cleaning involved. I read that f sport filter is reusable but don't need to be oiled so is more hassle-free than k&n

any thoughts?

Regular filters run $16 at any auto store, i just replaced mine couple weeks ago.
ANY sport filter will require maintenance which involves cleaning and oiling. Just use a search button and you will find the whole thread about cleaning the f-sport filter.
