Will this work?
I have been searching and I haven't found a clear answer to this question. Can you install a SRT intake on your car without the ecu. I heard that your car will stall and it won't work but other people say that you have to reset the ecu and it will adjust to the intake. Any thoughts?

I am 100% sure your car will NOT perform optimally. In fact, it will run dangerously lean. You have a meter in your stock intake that measures the amount of air flowing in to the motor and adjusts your AFRs accordingly. It knows how much air is flowing in by measuring it across a certain point in the intake and averaging it across the diameter of the tube. You change the diameter of the tube. It NEEDS to have some sort of adjustment to compensate for this change. Otherwise there will be far more air moving in to the engine than what is 'known'. If you want to replicate this event, don't bother getting an SRT, just rip off a couple vacuum hoses. If you're going to mod your car, do it right and do it completely.
