some of the responses in here gave me a good LOLOLOLOL
ect pwr just lets the trans wait longer for an upshift, and gives you a higher redline. all these people saying it makes the car go faster, or makes it worse on gas, make me lololol its a transmission controller not a nitrous system haha!
i cant feel ANY difference between regular mode and pwr mode.....the ONLY reason i leave it in PWR is because of all the anoying upshifting it does in normal.
and snow mode....in snow.....is FTW!

My dad hates it when he gets into the car and finds the the PWR button on. He swears it kills fuel economy, and breaks the car. XD
He doesn't know crap about keeping up with his cars though, which is why I now stuck fixing so many things with it.
But now I don't use the PWR button really. I went under the hood and tightened up the throttle cable because it had loads of slack in it, and now the car feels a whole lot more responsive. There is still a pretty decent lag on acceleration though when I floor the gas from cruising speed.

im going to dyno my car on sunday...for ****s and giggles i will dyno 1 run in normal, and 1 run in pwr. i bet money there is no difference.
its a transmission controller. the variation in mileage should be MINIMAL. if ANYTHING the normal mode will get slightly better mpg from the constant upshifting....but if you drive like me....it also downshifts a ton. so the pwr mode might actually get better mpg depending on your driving habits. i know i get better mpg in pwr mode.

well that pretty much de-bunks the myth that the ETC makes more hp in "pwr mode" that it does in the regular "econo mode"
lol
