Is there anyone with the wiring set up to get the transmission shift lock to release. We need to start posting wiring set up because everyone is doing the swap but the information is all over the place. I need help asap the car is running but no shift lock release.

Yes the info is all over the place in a bunch of different swap threads. It is very cool to read all the threads and see the different builds, but if there's was a specific thread on it that would be cool(as far as the wiring for the jumpers go). I

posted in a separate thread also because I've read all the threads and most everyone's swap came with the grey and orange jumpers but mine didn't and I was looking for the wiring directions for guys who don't have the jumper plugs. There is a pic of the wiring in one thread but doesn't say the exact pin outs. And it was mentioned many times and people have resolved the issue of all the lights being on, not shifting right, and shift lock out but no one posts the wiring info.

When I get back and ready to tackle this, I will post my findings, but Iam in the same boat where I'd rather look at the rewire procedure and do it instead of tracing all wires and figuring it out since mine is a daily driver.

Question 2JZGTE Mass Air Flow Circuit?

Greetings Everyone,

I've got my swap in everything connected. I have a rev limit of around 3500RPM I'm guessing seeing as I don't have my tach working yet, but I have two codes 21 for O2 Sensor, and 31 for Mass Air Flow Circuit. Does anyone have any insight on what is causing this? I bought a 2nd MAF connected it with no success still same code 31. The new MAF was said to be tested verified working. Searched another forum guy had the rev limit issue, bought a new MAF issue solved.

Thanks in advance!

Yes use the JDM termination caps on the USDM body harness. It connects the pins in a different order if you look at the bottom of them you can see the difference. This is what takes care of the shiftlock. The threads you've prob seen where people had shiftlock issues or had to repin those body connectors did not get those terminators with their engineset.
--------------

so the orange and black plug that are capped off in my 2000 lexus gs 300 are for the shiftlock. since i am doing a th400 swap, these plugs wont be needed anymore correct ?
