Wow this is the loudest stock exhaust on the IS i have heard... of course the mid-pipe makes a huge difference. How much horsepower do you gain with ONLY the mid-pipe? 2-5HP??
More like 1-2 hp.
Anyone thinking it makes the car measurably quicker is confusing noise with speed.
This is why the "full" exhausts only produce a couple hp gain over the axle-backs.

Yeah i see. After putting the F Sport exhaust on my car, i actually feel "SLOWER" because it sounds louder but still accelerate like before. The acceleration doesn't match with what the sound convey and hence i feel the car being SLOWER My friend who drove a GS also experiences this phenomenon.
However, the F Sport exhaust sound is AWESOME and the throttle response is actually more responsive so I still love the exhaust.
Please post your experience on the highway! Especially at the 80mph level. I had the F-sport exhaust and took it off cause the drone with passengers on the highway was unbearable.
I"d be interested in a stock exhaust midpipe setup.
Just got my megan midpipe today. Will be installing it shortly and will post up some clips as well. Probably won't sound as loud as the invidia though.
Can anyone confirm the pipeing size is larger on the invida over stock? If the pipe size is the same why not just save the extra money and just do a smaller resonator or resonator delete?
Hi there, new lex owner looking into invidia midpipe. Notice there is a more expensive dual resonator version and then a cheaper single resonator version Whats the difference? Sound? One better than the other?
