Default Tanabe or Fujitsubo?

Hey guys! So I am debating which one to get and can't decide. Never heard or saw neither one of these exhaust systems in person so it is tough.

Tanabe seems louder and thats what I am afraid of. I don't want any drone in the cabin or too much attention from pedestrians or other drivers.
Fujitsubo exhaust tips seem a little too small.

Any opinion much appreciated.

From my experience, a lot of people have had Tanabe because they aren't very loud. I think it is said to be under 87 decibels. Never heard anything about Fuji though.

Fujitsubo it stock looking with a little noticeable sound. Nothing your grandama will notice. That being said I like mine cause I will not get annoyed by it.

At idle the tanabe is indistinguishable from stock.

It makes a nice little growl when you get on the gas, but super quiet compared to most aftermarket exhausts, and anyone who thinks there's any drone has never heard actual drone from an exhaust.

I'd say tanabe based on price. Isn't fuji much more expensive/rare? Tanabe tips look better too IMO.

It used to be. For some reason now Fujitsubo is only $100 more so the price is not the buying factor.

I have a Tanabe and it is definitely not loud. It has a nice low rumble on start up, sounds stock at idle, and gives a nice growl from 3-4k rpms and while under moderate to heavy load. Most people probably couldn't distinguish it from stock but it has a nice aggressive look with the large, dual wall tips. I've received many compliments on it.

Can't speak for the Fujitsubo.

Tanabe has like no drone. Sit in a car with a mid pipe and you'll know what loud is haha

Go with Tanabe soley on price. Neither of these exhausts are loud so you shouldnt be worrying about that

Looks like Fuji is not popular at all. For some reason I am leaning more towards Fujitsubo.

I had a fujitsubo on my rsx awhile back; it was one of the better sounding exhausts for the car (catback) and it was pretty hard to find.

im having a tough decision for this car too though i can't decide if i want a tanabe (which i've heard on my fathers g37) or the fujitsubo (or even a greddy se elite)

fujitsubo is quiet and good wielding but is not really as superior as people praise it to be...way overpriced
all the pre-08 models went on half price clearance for a reason lol nobody buys them

if you want quiet go tanabe
if you want deep growl go hks
if you want oem go fsport
