Default Ordering Upgrades

I'm about to order Megan Racing Cat-Back Exhaust and a Takeda Air Intake for my '06 IS250.

Thoughts? Not gonna be able to afford an F-Sport Exhaust, but I think this set up will make me happy!

Well what do you want out of your exhaust? Do you want the loudest or quietest?

I have a greddy SP IMO the best looking exhaust...it's definitely quiet tho unless u get a mid pipe....u only hear it at maybe 4k rpm

I havent heard the Megan exhaust, so I cant really comment on that.

Ive had 3 differente exhausts setups.

1) Fsport exhaust + resonator delete

2) Fsport exhaust + Invidia midpipe

3) HKS Hi Power exhaust + Invidia midpipe.

Option #3 has given me the deepest and loudest setup out of the three. Hope this helps!

The only problem I have with Greddy is the problem I seem to find with almost all of the exhaust systems for this car...their axle back is the same price as a full on cat back. I would just assume get the full on cat back if I'm going to spend that much money.

Just the information I've been noticing. But thanks for the responses...keep em coming.

Got my Megan Racings Catback installed last week. Also got my Takeda installed. And got my Fidanza flywheel and Spec Stage 2 clutch installed as well. Love the sound of the the intake/exhaust. Love the feel of the new clutch/flywheel setup. Not a fan of having to learn how to drive my car all over again, but that's part of the experience I suppose. Overall I'm very pleased with the way everything has turned out.

So did you get the Megan Mid Pipe also? This is deeper than the Invidia mid pipe.

How's the new clutch/flywheel set up?

greddy SP is amazing. but since i have the new evo3 by greddy im going to be biased and say its just a tad better. being biased again i love my k&n typhoon. the 2 paired together has a nice sound output. paid 750 for evo3 and 250 for intake.

The megan is deeper. The Invidia is raspier.
