IMO all greddys sound the same with the exception of this evo3 which is louder. Tanabe is comparable to Invidia. HKS and Fsport are also comparable but the HKS being the loudest.

IMO over video you cant really compare exhaust notes unless they are completely different.

Also curious about this. Do you get more raspiness without the resonator? Increased cabin noise?

Yes, tons of rasp

Yes you will get rasp if you delete your resonator. I used to have the F-Sport exhaust + Resonator delete and it was loud, but there would be a ton of rasp, especially in the higher RPM range.

Then I had the F-Sport exhaust + Invidia midpipe and it got rid of the rasp, but was just as loud.

The loudest "out of the box" setup is the HKS Hi Power + Invidia. Its louder than the F-Sport + Invidia, but its so much deeper and has ZERO rasp

I wouldn't say that rasp is necessarily a downside. I think it definitely gives more oomph, specially since I have a quieter exhaust.

Are you confusing rasp with drone?

Because the rasp that I used to have reminds me of the fart cannons that people put on civics

No, I do notice there is some rasp. But my setup doesn't make it sound like a fart can. Maybe there's more rasp if you have a louder exhaust, e.g. F-sport, as opposed to a quieter one?

You're wasting gas with ECT PWR. It doesn't make the car go faster at launch.

I have it on all the time, and I get the same mileage as I used to when I had it off. But ECT PWR has its own thread :P

I have no idea. There is a distinct difference in the "quality" of the sound when comparing res delete and midpipes though, at least in my experience.

Is there a vendor that sells just the Invidia exhaust, not including the midpipe? I got a quote from one vendor here who said that the exhaust has to be sold with the midpipe, total was about $750 for both. Still a good price, but I really only want the exhaust for the look more than anything else.
