Well the JoeZ intake will give you a guaranteed 5hp, but it will not be as loud as other intakes.

I personally chose a short ram intake because they are louder and you cant really feel 5hp but its depends on what you are looking for.

Would the gains be the same if you added a drop in filter and using the Joe Z pipe? Or does the Joe Z pipe have to be used with stock box? J/w. If so, get joe z pipe and drop in filter. Or you can always drill it.

I personally went with the JoeZ pipe and F-Sport box/filter, I think it sounds great. Nice deep grumble around 3500 rpm. Still looks stock.

It should be the same gain because the JoeZ is just a pipe and it uses the stock box.

You can get the JoeZ pipe and drill a hole for more sound (similar to the Fsport intake) but it still wont be as loud as a SRI. Short rams use an exposed cone filter so it will be louder than the stock box with holes drilled

I installed the Joe Z pipe and aFe filter yesterday, I wasn't looking for any sound changes and I can say I didn't get any which is good. I really only did it as I wanted a new filter that was re-usable and the Joe Z pipe is so cheep it seemed like a no brainer....
