Just bought K&N intake for 2008 IS250 awd
Hello everyone, I just bought the K&N short ram air intake for my 2008 IS 250 awd and am looking into getting an exhaust. I was thinking about the Tenabe Medalion Touring cat-back system.
Wanted to know what you all think and if this will generate noticeable HP or if the exhaust would be annoyingly loud, as i would like to be able to continue using the bluetooth speaker phone affectively and also have a nice exhaust.

None of the intakes really produce big gains, maybe 5hp with JoeZ or F-sport. Depending on exhaust you may see a little more but really most mods are just for sound from what I've read here
PPE headers may be a good choice though. Some decent and proven gains there, 16hp or so.

if you have a 250, mod for aesthetics sound and handling, forget power

Just a heads up, the Tanabe is an axle back, not a catback.
You will get ~5-7hp out of an axle back. But you wont get any noticable power out of any bolt on mod for our cars so just go for sound.
HKS is the loudest followed by the Evo3

Even with an invidia midpipe, my HKS sounds quiet to me
Edit: Actually I should change that to not loud enough for me lol
