How much would it cost to get the tranny of an IS300 5spd installed to a 98 and up Gs300????

from what i understand, U loose the Power mode, all u keep is the ASC and winter mode.

You WILL get a check engine light from the ECU feedback. There are a couple of ways you can install a manual tranny and maintain all the electronics on your car (...also VVT-i):

1) You might have to get an IS300 ECU also for the manual tranny to work.

2) Motec m800 and custom wiring harness

3) Pectel T6 and custom wiring harness

*) with option 2+3 you might as well ditch the drive-by wire.

I was thinking of going with the SRT stage 2-4.

I want 13sec's flat

But currently i have a gs400 with a lot of mods, so i will chop it and get a 300.

The question remains, if the costs of the tranny and all parts associated with is too high i might as well get a 00-01 to atleast have the tip-tronic atleast.

If it's have descent then 98gs300 and let the show begin.

V300, can you atleast tell me how much the V300 upgrade for a gs300 is going to run? 20g's?? i've seen it done on an Is300 for 20g's.

I know it's a lot of work an all, but i want that 6spd.

I know powerhouseracing.com have done stuff like that.

I just don't want a straight auto GS. (atleast E-shift)
