Default Installed Tanabe Cat-back Exhaust yesterday...

Well I finally got exhaust... I got the Tanabe Hyper Medalion... I wanted a full catback and greddy didnt have the design of muffler I was looking for...

anyways... fitment is excellent and installation was very staight forward.

Sound-wise... I guess its okay.. Im coming from a straight pipe on a twin turbo supra.. so anything is more quite then that...

although I would prefer it to be a bit more quite in a luxury car like the GS... but its not too bad.. and at freeway or cruing speeds, you barely even here it. You only really hear it at 1-2nd gear or hard acceleration.

Looks-wise... its nice... I really like the polished muffler, although I would have loved for the piping to be polished too... The tip is realtivly large.. but I think I will get used to it... if it was .5" smaller I think it would be a bit better.. but ohh well..

performance.. well its hard to tell .. Im sure it gave me in the 5hp range to the wheels.. but who can really tell they gained 5hp.. I mainly got it for the looks...

Im happy with the product...

Congrats on the Tanabe. I agree, the pipes are a bit *ahem* large, and I have scraped them several times on my driveway. I'm considering having the piping redone to remove the resonators so I can get the closed model of Tom's rear chassis brace.
