Twin Turbo GS400 Update
Wassup guys. I've received several emails as well as some pm's asking me if I have picked up my TT GS as scheduled today. Well, I have contacted Muhammed from SRT and told him I will be picking it up this weekend. I have to work around my girl's schedule on this one as she is coming back from Poland tomorrow. As always I have my camcorder handy so although I know I will have to baby it to break it in, I will be sure to put some clips together. I am hoping the car will bring along the title of the "Most powerful Lexus GS400 in the US," unless some of the other guys try to steal it away. Anyhow, we'll see what happens.........

WOW.....the thought of a Toyota quad cam 32 valve V8 twin turbo just blows my mind! Congratulations, you have a real beast there. How much hp, do you plan to have in the car when you get it back, might I ask?

Plannning on 500RWHP+ on pump gas and maybe somewhere in the 560RWHP area on race gas. All of this achieved with full boost by/before 3,000RPM.
btw, i thought the stage 3 or 4 sc has more hp and tq than the tt on gs400?

Most importantly, how much to do the work? how long for it to get done? driveablility and reliability - how badly is it effected? how damn fast is this thing (0-60 and 1/4 mile times)? how much work needs to be done to the tranny and rear to cope with the increase in power?

Just to quickly answer your one of your questions, the does not loose any of it's luxury aspects as even the cats are retained. All of the stock function such as the e shift and vsc are fully operational. If you're shooting for 500RWHP+ you will probably need to address your tranny and might look into SRT's tranny rebuild. You will also need a differential (preferably a 3.26 from TRD) when getting your TT setup. I would imagine the car be a high 11 second 1/4 mile sedan when all is said and done, but we will have to see.
wow, 500rwhp, you win man
