Yeah unfortunately we have some of the strictest emission laws in the US which means that when it comes times to smog my car I'll have to figure something out.

Mike gave me the idea of gutting out the stock headers which is what I'll be doing tomorrow. My only concern is that the o2 sensors are going to have bad readings. Do those o2 sensor spacers really solve the CEL problem?

I haven't added up the total but I think I've spent about the same or slightly more than what I'm selling the kit for (it's up for grabs in the for sale section). The custom fabrication is what cost way more than the parts as it took many long hours to get everything to fit right.

I pulled the trigger on some catless ebay headers. Paid $141 out the door with tax included. On my way to pick them up now. I'm having a shop install them tonight

Those things ppe has in their headers are called defoulers
Different company's make them in all sorta of handles and bends, basically just positions the sensor away from the actual header tricking it

They look similiar to the megan IS250 headers, perhaps un branded?; I have a pair here in storage lol, never got around to installing. I am afraid the car will become to loud lol.

With the headers installed, me whole exhaust system is practically straight piped with no resonators or cats. The only thing creating back pressure is the turbos. Now I'm gonna have to drive with the windows up so avoid the nasty smell ha ha

It has a Godspeed tag welded onto the headers. Although I wasn't aware they even made headers.

The headers are generic and anyone/everyone can put whatever label they want on them. Definitely worth the money to do the swap. Once installed and running right, back to dyno with your ***!

I guess this is all part of the trial and error process when it comes to building something that's never really been done before. I'm a couple grand into this build but still super stocked to see what kind of numbers It'll make!!

I'm stumped here... Went to the shop that's installing the headers (same shop that fabricated the turbo piping) and he showed me that the passenger side of the header is completely missing the catalytic converter honeycomb inside and the driver side header honeycomb is completely intact. He is aware that I had the engine overhaul done by Lexus a few months back because the car was burning oil and misfiring. The mechanic said that the cat got damaged because of the misfire which means that the turbos had nothing to do with it as I never had a misfire after I got the overhaul done. That being said... I'm going to take back the stock headers to my Lexus dealership that did the work and argue that because of the known misfiring issue, my headers got damaged! Not sure how much I'll be able to get out of them but it's worth a try to at least get a used header out of it.

Some input from you guys would be appreciated.
