Boosting with the twins... is250 turbo build

^^^ Thank you Yes, in other words the heat absorbed by the oil as it passes over the turbine bearings increases its volume. If you do not use larger return lines, it will restrict its flow. Granted the 3SGTE uses a gravity return system to its sump,...but the science is there.

I've been driving the car without the turbos for the past 3 days and all I can say is that the car is slow as ****!!!
Never realized how much hp the snails actually created.
If I sell this kit I'll have to build another one ASAP!!! I can't drive this thing any longer without boost!

^Makes me LOL when you say that! I said to myself after having a 400whp Honda that I'd not be able to drive anything with any less HP. Well, the IS350 has such friendly torque range that I don't miss it at all. Bye bye boost lag! The Lexus has been twice as fun to drive compared to the Honda.

OP, I am curious about the A/F ratios you are getting and how you have provided more fuel to the combustion chamber.

I am not spraying any more fuel. The ECU automatically adjust to the increased airflow and compensates for that. As may of the other forced induction guys said before... It is not recommended to run more than 7lbs of boost for that same reason as you start leaning out the stock fuel system at WOT.

One thing people keep over looking is that Mike and Heyarms are both running meth injection kits. Going back through old posts Heyarms had dangerously lean AFR's prior to the meth (spikes near 15.0:1).

Just picked up a new pair of snails. This time instead of the T3 .48 turbos, I got a pair of T3 .63 turbos with an 8lb internal wastegate. I won't be installing these until I get a new oil pump and the A/F ratio gauge. Looking at meth injection kits as we speak.
I see that most kits come with an adjustable boost controlled switch that ranges from 1-25 lbs. Would that mean that I will only need meth after a certain amount of boost or would I have to monitor the A/F gauge to make sure at what PSI to start injecting?
